Chelo's commitment to family reaches beyond their employees and extends into the neighborhood community. Chelo's community involvement starts in their Cranston and Woonsocket locations with coin operated trains that encircle a dining area whose proceeds are donated to Meeting Street and the Paget's Disease Foundation. Community involvement expands to include all Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille's with the annual Chelo's Golf Classic, recently celebrating it's 15th year, to benefit Meeting Street in Providence.

Together with our employees and business partners, Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille has donated over $105,000 to various local charities and non-profit organizations. Our long list of contributions to our community include participation in the annual Toys for Tots Christmas campaign, as well as participation in the annual Aquafina Taste of Rhode Island event that benefits several local charities. In addition to hosting the Goodwill Industries' Annual Award breakfast, Chelo's has also taken part in granting wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille proudly sponsors several local neighborhood youth athletic leagues.
